Axel Kindergarten’s classrooms are thoughtfully designed to be sensory-rich spaces, filled with activities, charts, and tools that encourage self-exploration and creativity. Children engage in hands-on experiences like texture understanding using sand and colored doughs, sand and water play, where they explore different textures, understand the tactile feel of various items and develop fine motor skills. Interactive story sessions, using puppets and props bring stories to life, enhancing a child’s imagination and language skills.

Also, Axel Kindergarten’s art and craft activities use not only pencil and paper but also clay and fabric to paint and natural objects, helping children express themselves and understand different textures and colors. Music and movement sessions play another integral part of our sensory learning approach. Through music and dance children develop rhythm, coordination, and an appreciation for music while having fun.

At Axel’s Kindergarten outdoor learning is also a key component of the school curriculum, with activities like learning about trees and plants with touch and feel, gardening, where kids plant seeds, feel the soil, rainwater and observe nature.
