Students studying in Class 9 and 10 are invited to participate in a scholarship test for admissions to Class 11. Exceptional students scoring above 95% on our admissions test are eligible for scholarships for our boarding school program.

Where is the school located?
Axel Public School is accredited by the CBSE and based in the midst of the Gorbhonga forest in Lokhra, Guwahati. We provide transportation services from all corners of the city.
Who is eligible for the scholarship test?
Exceptional students in classes 9 and 10 from Northeast India are invited to participate in the scholarship test. Those scoring above 95% will be eligible for early admissions to APS.
What are the subjects the test is on?
Students are tested on their knowledge on Mathematics, Science, Current Affairs and General English.
Do you have to be in the CBSE board to apply?
No. Students from all boards, including State board schools are eligible to apply for our scholarship test. We do not test you on CBSE specific knowledge.
What is the last date of registration?
The last date to register for eligible students is 31st October 2023. The tests will take place in the designated locations in your city upon registration in the month of November.
Up to which class does Axel educate students?
We have a kindergarten section in Beltola (City campus) and up to Class 12 on the Lokhra campus.
What is the admission procedure?
First you have to register interest for your child either through an online form or at the Beltola city office. If your child is admitted, you will have to pay for the admission form. All other information can be found here.
Do you offer housing for students coming from outside Guwahati?
We have boarding facilities for out of city students - for class 11 and 12 students only. All further information can be found in the boarding section.
Do you offer discounts for any purposes?
The scholarship test provides stipends to exceptional students to encourage the academic levels in India. We do not provide discounts for admission under any other circumstances. If anyone has approached you regarding this issue, please report that to management.
